FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions FAQs

Q: What are Limited Editions?

A: Prints are produced as part of an edition, limiting the number of prints available. The size of the edition is determined by the photographer and depends on the set of images it is a part of. In most cases the edition will refer to a particular image in a particular size. Signed prints are more sought after than unsigned.

The limited edition photograph is a relatively recent concept, so you will find that many vintage prints are not limited editions, however vintage prints are considered more valuable than modern re-prints as they are seen as historical artefacts.

Q: How long will my prints take to arrive?

A: Prints are made to order and turnaround time is approx. 2 weeks

Q: How do you package the prints?

A: We would rather 'over pack' than take any risks. We use extra heavy-duty tubes so that prints cannot be easily damaged. We use Parcel Force for international shipments and will email you a tracking number so that you can follow progress on parcelforce.com. Typically Parcelforce will deliver within five working days from the day they collect from us.

Q: What happens if something is damaged in transit?

A: While we take great care with the packaging of orders, once they leave the building, they are in the hands of commercial couriers. While we have never experienced any major problems with damaged packages, we can’t rule it out in the future, simply because it is not under our direct control.

Rest assured that if there were any damage to a product as a result of mishandling in transit, we would send you a replacement.

Q: What if I don't like it?
